Pat Major

Pat Major is the administrator of Lakewood Christian Schools .  This includes our preschool, elementary school, and middle school.  He is also the principal in charge of our K-5 elementary school.  Mr. Major is married (to Daphnelynn, 37 years!) and has two grown children, Matt and Mindy.

His son, Matt, graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1998, and is Director of I.T. Services for Taylor Guitars in El Cajon near San Diego.  He is married to Kim and lives in La Mesa.  Two grandsons, Vaughn and Logan!

Mindy also graduated from APU in 1999, and is married to Todd. She is a public school, elementary teacher in the Ontario/Montclair School District.  They live in Alta Loma. 

Mr. Major taught history, Bible, yearbook and coached basketball for 8 years (six with Christian Unified Schools of San Diego ) in the 70's.  Since 1980, he has been administrator at 4 schools over the last 28 years.

Mr. Major is a former member of the Executive Board of ACSI (1992-2001), the Association of Christian Schools to which our school belongs and served on the ACSI Accreditation Commission and International Ministries committee.  He also served two terms as chairman of the Southern California ACSI Accreditation Commission.  Mr. Major has chaired over 15 (joint WASC/ACSI) Accreditation Visiting Committees at California Christian schools, as well as to International schools in Bangkok and Singapore .
