Missions

God has a global agenda!  At Lakewood, we’re excited about making Missions Outreach a part of the total ministry of our church.  In this website you’ll find missionaries we support, news and prayer requests from around the world, coming events, and a link to Converge Worldwide (BGC) our movement partner in global missions.  An application for support is provided for those seeking financial help in short term trips.  Our Missions Outreach Policy gives our priorities and values as we seek to make a difference among all peoples for the glory of Jesus Christ.

The message of life in Jesus is desperately needed in our world today.  We rejoice that in spite of huge challenges, more people are responding to the message of salvation in Christ than at any other time in history.  Through financial and prayerful support of missionaries and projects, and through our own short term teams, Lakewood is actively engaged in transforming communities.  We’re making a difference through ministries of evangelism, church planting, leadership training, and compassion.  Join us!
