Global Outreach

We encourage everyone in our church to share in some form of cross-cultural ministry.

The happiness we find in knowing God reaches its fullest potential when shared with others, especially as people from very different cultures and languages are invited into the joy of knowing God.

God promised in Isaiah 66:19 that He would send messengers "To the distant coast lands that have neither heard My fame nor seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations." This is not an isolated text, but reflects the overwhelming heart and mind of God.

The primary work of the Missions Committee at Lakewood is to deal with matters regarding global evangelization and foreign missions.
